If you're a fan of dark and ruthless bass music, then this message is for you! Noisia's album Split The Atom is out with a fresh new special edition on Mau5trap. If you're unfamiliar with the trio, they're considered one of the hardest-hitting bass music groups out there despite being from the land of four-to-the-floor, the Netherlands. Their climb to fame began to really take off in the US upon the release of their LP back in 2010. It featured tracks like Alpha Centauri and had a very sci-fi oriented theme.

The special edition of Noisia's breakthrough album features many of their newest releases and remixes that have come out since the original release, including the aggressive drum'n'bass tune Could This Be, the brutal 16bit remix of Machine Gun, and of course their explosive hit Tommy's Theme which made our Top 15 Dubstep Tracks Of 2011. The track that really made me flip out is the savage remix of Diplodocus by Kill The Noise. Even Deadmau5 posted it to his Facebook wall with the question "Are you f**king kidding me right now? Wow." If you want to have nightmares, I dare you to listen to the terrifying Posij drumstep remix of My World, which has a dark and creepy voice sample sure to haunt your dreams. The special edition of Split The Atom has a few surprises on it too, like Munchi's dark and twisted moombahton remix of Tommy's Theme.

Whether you're fan or just want to bang your head on something, this 32-track compilation is powerful and also a great way to get all their best original work in one bundle. Download it here from Beatport.
