Heroes x Villains - Original Choppaz (Original Mix)
If anyone knows trap music, it's Atlanta's own Heroes X Villains. I'm not talking about cookie-cutter, festival-style trap; I mean the kind of music that feels like something illegal is going on. If producers Daniel Disaster (pictured) and Pete H are guilty of anything, it's turning the rest of the world on to that Dirty South style of bass, and with beats like this you might as well lock us all up.

In the words of HXV, “We’re only interested in making music you can fight or strip to." As such, their new and offical remix of Jah No Partial by Major Lazer is a bass-propelled punch to the face. It pays respects to the reggae influences of the original while adding in a hard-hitting kickd rum and a dash of hip-hop, not surprising considering Daniel has made beats for artists like Lil' Wayne, T.I., and Waka Flocka Flame. Original Choppaz is the kind of track that makes you turn to a friend and actually say "Damn son, where'd you find this?", and one of the best trap songs of last year. The Jah No Partial remix is out on Diplo‘s Mad Decent label next month, but head over to the group's Soundcloud for now to check out more dirty tracks.
