Atmosphere Deadmau5 Empire of the Sun Kaskade kat von d W&W
Hey Thursday, you're lookin gooood. Today, we've got the first-ever EDM show at a baseball game, a new video from Kaskade, and an unfortunate relationship 5plit. Welcome to the Newsbyte.

The Empire Expands To Film

Dumb And Dumber

The latest Dumb And Dumber sequel, Dumb And Dumber To, is in the works, and the directors, the Farrelly Brothers, announced that Empire Of The Sun will be scoring the film.
The Australian duo's music can be described as anything but dumb, so this should be an interesting pairing. Pick up Ice On The Dune here, and check back for a teaser that will undoubtedly surface.

W&W To Play... Right Field?

W&W Phillies Game

The hotter-than-hot Dutch act W&W have apparently made a strong impression on Americans, because they're going to allow the duo to take their national pastime's EDM V-card in the first-ever electronic dance music event at a Major League Baseball game.

Willem van Hanegem and Wardt van der Harst will be playing a 90-minute set on the Budweiser Rooftop beyond right field at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia after the Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves game July 5. All Phillies fans in attendance are encouraged to remain for the set, so grab a ticket here for like, $12, and say you got the cheapest W&W ticket ever.

Breakup5 Are Tough

kat vond and deadmau5

deadmau5 and Kat Von D have apparently split up. No longer EDM's second-hottest couple after Pasquale and Holly, the two exchanged heated words over Twitter yesterday.
deadmau5 replied on Facebook with:

All i am saying on the matter: Kat and I split in November and I moved back home to Toronto. During this time, while we were broken up, I did have relations with another woman. Following that, Kat and I reconciled and I acknowledged being intimate with another person while we were estranged.

We did move past those issues and I proposed to Kat in mid- December. At the end of June, it was clear that the relationship was not working and we mutually ended the engagement. I was not, at any point, unfaithful to Kat during our time together.

I don't wish to go tit for tat with these kinds of pronouncements and don't expect to comment further, but I do believe that those who have expressed concern deserve a more complete understanding of what transpired.
That's the way it goes.
Amen, brother.

Friends In Your Atmosphere

Kaskade premiered a heartwarming video for the epic tune Atmosphere today, to which he contributed the vocals personally, mirroring the beaming jam's positive vibes. Ryan Raddon takes center-stage, serenading the camera alongside a long string of bright-eyed fans. Enjoy the video below, and pick up the tune here.
