Josh Bennett
Big Room/Electro|Scot Project - B (Baby) (Scot Project Remix) [Druck]

I've said it once, and I'll say it again: Scot Project may be the most underrated producer in all of "EDM-ish" EDM. However, given his recent appearance on the BassCon stage at EDC Las Vegas, his level of popularity, at least in the US, may be poised to skyrocket. The man otherwise known as Frank Zenker has another monster of a track called B (Baby), and if you like mainstage electro sounds with soulful vocal samples, this is right up your alley. It's quite the fist-pumper.

Jesse Champagne
Indie & Beats|Laura Mvula - That's Alright (Silent Rider Remix)

Oh man, this one is a keeper. Brooklyn-based minimalist indie-pop act Silent Rider transforms Laura Mvula's upbeat swing single into a dark and cinematic experience. Subtle pauses help emphasize Laura's smooth voice and a healthy dash of wobbles and percussions refuse to let you go. Haunting, sexy, and powerful, this remix is equally at ease playing out on your headphones or in a club. Grab it for free here.

Nathan Codd
Dubstep|Case & Point feat. Lara Woolf - Open Your Eyes (Original Mix) [C&P]

Nothing like some end-of-the-world dubstep for a Friday afternoon. With only hours before being set free unto the weekend, I always reach for something apocalyptic, and Case & Point are on-point with this need of mine. Enjoy the melodic and dark vibes, and pick up your free copy here.

Matt Heidkamp
Indie & Beats|Tobacco - Heavy Makeup (Original Mix)[Anticon]

Something about this heat makes me crave dark, trippy beats with a heaping dose of fat synths. Tobacco gets it. Strap yourself in for this one. It gets heavy.

Jeremy Rathbun
House|Joey Negro - Must Be The Music (Original Mix) [Subliminal]

As a strong supporter of the use of disco elements in music, Joey Negro is my fearless leader. Arguably my favorite track to date, this 1999 track featuring the stellar vocals of Taka Boom and samples the incredible 1978 hit Wastin' My Love by Sticky Fingers. Horns, strings and a fantastic use of filters solidify this track as a house classic.

Jerry Shikhman
Nu Disco|Strip Steve feat. Puro Instinct - Astral Projection (Original Mix) [Boysnoize]

This track has literally been on repeat all week. I absolutely LOVE IT. I love the album, Micro Mega, as well as the remixes. Just perfect.

Chris Porter
Drum & Bass|Marcus Intalex & S.P.Y. - Celestial Navigation (Original Mix) [SOUL:R]

Marcus Intalex, one of D&B's 5-star generals, teams up with the dynamic Brazilian producer S.P.Y. for this 2011 space-voyage. Appearing on Intalex's album entitled 21, this track journeys deep into the cosmos with sci-fi soundscapes and a light-speed rhythm. Pick it up here on Beatport.

Chris Downar
Deep House|Ry & Frank Wiedemann feat Jens Kuross - Howling (Original Mix) [Innervisions]

My deep house obsession has led me to this relaxing tune, Howling, by Ry & Frank Wiedemann. Everything about this tune is beautifully serene with its gentle beats, Ry's soothing acoustic guitar, and the angelic voice of Jens Kuross. The release also includes an excellent remix by Âme. Get both here on Beatport.

Mike Davies
Deep House|Lane 8 - Be Mine (Original Mix) [Anjunadeep]

It's a real testament to how far Anjunadeep has come when they're releasing the sort of deep house that had clubs moving in the late '80s. Be Mine by SF-based producer Lane 8 is house music at its finest. With a more than a hint of old-school and a chilled vibe that screams summer, this is one to relax by a pool with, preferably with a few cocktails and a nice sunset.

Ilenia Cangelosi
House|J Paul Getto - Imma Let You Know [Magnetic]

J Paul Getto certainly lets the world know that he is an impeccable producer when it comes to modern-day, feel-good disco with Imma Let You Know--played on repeat all week is an understatement. From the moment I heard it during Catz & Dogz' live at Open Air Amsterdam set from earlier this month, the hunt was on for this perfectly crafted tune. Will be keeping on repeat all summer.

Jon April
Deep House|STUFF - Remember the Time [Off Recordings]

This is the first I've heard of French producer STUFF, and I sincerely hope it's not the last. I immediately fell in love the first time I heard this track, and no matter what I do, I cannot stop listening. This is one of those deep tracks that transports you to a late-night underground party where no one cares who you are as long as you dance along. Michael Jackson's vocals help let this track stand out, although the sexy factor on its own is extremely high.

Josh Stewart
Indie & Beats|Coyote Kisses - Black Cat

Coyote Kisses leads the waltz into summertime festival jams with this ode to a lost feline friend. Chopped vocals accompany a myriad of live instruments painting a vivid soundscape made more for chilling than raging. Grab this track for free here.
