Now, given it's New Year's Eve on Tuesday, and you'll need all the rest you can get, in the effort of being good role models, we'd recommend that you... turn this sh*t up to 11 and go way hard until you either reach next weekend or reach a brick wall, whichever comes first. Would we steer you wrong? It's Friday Favorites 36.

Big Room | Moska - Cartagena (Original Mix) [Cr2]
Gotta show a lil <3 to my man Moska, the tribal big room king from Colombia who has shown up on everyone from Diplo to Tiesto's radar this year. His new track which celebrates the coastal Colombian city of Cartagena is quintessential Moska, with larger-than-life drops accented by thundering drums and rapid arpeggiations. Pick it up here.

Drum & Bass | Chicane - Come Back (ShockOne Remix) [Zouk]
ShockOne's sickening ability to make drum & bass that is both technically staggering and aesthetically catchy makes him one of my absolute favorite names on the scene. This week, I'm anticipating the arrival of my last and most awaited holiday gift this year (no, it's not an Xbox One), the return of a longtime friend. Godspeed, and God help the city you end up calling home.

Crunkstep | Marion Band$ feat. Nipsey Hustle - Hold Up (Crizzly Remix)
Texas crunkstep king Crizzly just remixed Hold Up from the Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack, adding a lethal barrage of bass and brain-rattling drops. His reasoning? "I love driving around listening to Radio Los Santos while running over prostitutes... so I decided to remix this song." Good enough for me! Download it for free right here.

Chillout | Cold Fingers - Obscure (Original Mix)
"They're just two guys from Philly having fun..." and making kickass, downtempo music that I can't seem to get enough of. Check out Obscure, the first single off Cold Fingers' new EP, Mystic, out soon.

Tech House | Jeremy Olander - Bandersnatch (Original Mix) [Pryda Friends]
Today I've got a dark and slightly unusual piece of techy goodness from Swedish producer Jeremy Olander. A firm favorite on Eric Prydz' Pryda Friends, Olander is clearly a whiz in the studio, with his latest track Bandersnatch combining various complex synth lines with simple percussion to create a driving tech house masterpiece. Google tells me the Bandersnatch is a character from the works of Lewis Carroll and though I'll never be a fan of Carroll's work, I've now become a big fan of Olander's.

Indie & Beats/Grime | The Range - Jamie (Original Mix) [Donky Pitch]
I've been kicking myself all week for sleeping on Nonfiction, the debut full-length from James "The Range" Hinton which was released back in October. The record feels refreshing--vital, even--for its unique approach to hip hop and post-dubstep instrumentals. With its gruff grime exterior that subtly, seamlessly gives way to moments of shimmering beauty, Jamie is one of Nonfiction's most impressive displays. Don't wait any longer to dig deep into the strange magic of this album.

Indie & Beats/Nu Disco | Gentleman Hall - Sail Into The Sun (Lenno Remix) [Free Download]
One of the brightest names in the nu disco scene, Lenno, has gone and taken the indie rock band Gentleman Hall's Sail Into The Sun and given it a nu disco twist. It's an extremely light-hearted track that is sure bring your spirits up if times are a little rough. Grab a free download on Lenno's SoundCloud.

Deep House | Gladkill - I See The Future (Original Mix) [Foundations]
I've been really diggin' Gladkill's transition into deep house territory lately. If you foresee a fat bassline and chilled out vocals in your future, I See The Future will definitely set your party off right. To make matters sweeter, this gem is available for free here.
